So… the book has been out for almost a week, and I’ve put review copies in the hands of about a dozen kids and adults so far.
This being my first fiction novel, I have to admit that I was a little nervous about reader feedback. Granted, my beta reader feedback was mostly positive, but it’s a different feeling when you know that anyone can post a review online.
So, I guess the good news is that the first people who have read the finished book apparently like it a lot. :)
Here’s an example of some of the early feedback I’ve received:
“Are adults supposed to be intrigued by adolescent books? This kid seems to have just landed in some nightmare version of his home and sucking his thumb is his go-to thing? Lol… I like.” – J. Hambrick
“Caitlyn has about 40 pages left. She said she likes it. She will finish today. She wanted to know if you are writing another book!” – C. Pencik
Thanks to everyone thus far who has posted a review or provided feedback to me directly. I sincerely appreciate it!
