I know I’ve been quiet lately, but I’ve been hard at work writing the sequel and prequel to the stories that occurred in “season one” of THEM. And, I have good news… the prequel novel is done and back from my editor, and tomorrow I’m shipping it off to have the interior layout done so it’ll be ready for publishing.
As you can see, I’ve commissioned new artwork for the series, done by the very talented Christian Bentulan. And, along with the new cover art, I’m relaunching a slightly modified, re-titled and repackaged version of the first book, which will now become Book One in the series (the prequel is, of course, Book Zero).
While this novel is quite a bit shorter than the first season compilation, it’s every bit as action-packed and fills in Scratch’s backstory and history for all you Scratch Sullivan fans. Basically, this novel covers the events of the very first days of the undead outbreak, from Scratch’s perspective. For those of you who wanted to know more about Scratch’s “origin story”, this novel is for you.
And, while that novel is cooking with the book designer, I’ll be hard at work finishing Book Two, which will be the third book in the series. That novel picks up where “season one” left off, and it follows Scratch, Gabby, and Bobby as they take on the Corridor Pack. I can’t say too much more or I’ll spoil the surprises, but I promise plenty of mayhem, mishaps, and misadventures for our intrepid trio.
I know you’re probably jonesing for some more Scratch Sullivan by now… just sit tight, because the novel will be ready to publish on the Kindle platform and in paperback any day now. Stay tuned for more news about the series, and be sure to sign up for my newsletter so you can be the first to hear about new releases and special offers on my novels.
Until next time,
